  2. Rick, as a friend, you going to the game and openly mocking Mr. Johnson with a Mr. Magoo bandana does no one any good!!! It's difficult to support you when it seems more like you have your own agenda and you're not going to stop until you get your way. Personally, if I were part of the commission I would contemplate suspending you even further. Put yourself in the commissions shoes and having to make a decision here. Who do you support?
Also, you being an umpire have to know that this doesn't sit to well with the other umpires. If you're one of the BASL umpires who do you support? Your counterparts or the one player that is making way too big a deal out of this for way too long a time?

  3. I have to agree with the posts so far, I would call your behavior yesterday to be fifth graderish, but that would be an affront to ten year olds all over the world. You're mad at Mr. Johnson and your suspension and you have made us fully aware of that. Now you have to perpetuate your anger on the field as well by wearing that bandana?

  4. Rick, you really should thank Mr Johnson for not taking any further action. He could easily have your ASA qualifications revoked removing you from ASA sanctioned leagues. What would you do then? That would be money out of your pocket.

Were you there to support your team or push your hidden agenda? If you are there to support your team then support your team. If you are there to act like a clown then got to times square and at least collect some money.

  6. Blog step-by-step

While others go unpunished, without judgement....Seems you're doing a good job of that for years now.

I paid the price for my behavior....From those that witnessed the event, punishment wasn't nearly enough, and if there was any doubt you removed it completely by wearing the bandana

and blog (so much for freedom of speech). Regardless, I was there for my teammates, like reading the lineup or keeping score....It seems you had another axe to grind and was quite transparent with your agenda. And as far as freedom of speech, are you the only one that is allowed to express his opinion?

My goal is to prove that I am the better man....Really? Explain this one to me? It seems to me that you are the only one that hasn't let it go yet.
