is a story where a hare ridicules a slow-moving tortoise and is challenged by him to a race. The hare soon leaves the tortoise behind and, confident of winning, decides to take a nap midway through the course. When he awakes, however, he finds that his competitor, crawling slowly but steadily, has arrived before him.The morale of the story has been debated, but the message of intelligence, dedication, perseverance, patience, and determination is clear.
Softball's version of the tortoise is the 2011 Broadway Show League Champions Turtle Rock!!!!!!
led by their Beethoven lookalike
manager
They proved the underdog can get it done. Playoff MVP Eric "Bulldog" http://softballinsider.blogspot.com/2011/07/me-llamo-eric-brown.html resembled Orel Hersheiser as he allowed only one run in 4 post season starts. Classic performance by a class act.
Congrats guys - well done and deserved
After 14 years in the league, congrats to Thom Wagner on putting together a successful scrappy and determined Turtle Rock team. Congrats to my teammates who played hard, took nothing for granted, and earned every victory. Proud to be a member of "The Rock". On 3, 1-2-3 ROCK!!!
